Many seasons ago we raced a handy galloper by the name of “Tears ‘N’ Triumph” and on reflection these emotions are exactly what the stable has experienced over the past week. It is fair to say we all shed a few a few ‘tears’ when our very talented mare, “Forjo” was ready to return to racing after a year off until sustaining another injury and had to be retired. With only two race starts for two exceptional wins, she was untapped and we predicted bigger things in store for the Snitzel mare come Spring. To console our loss our small team has been successful over the past 6 days with 3 ‘triumphs’ on the racetrack. “Best Suggestion” started the ball rolling with a great first up win at Kilmore on Thursday taking out the BM64 Handicap over 1200m. Later in the day, promising galloper “Tavonian” made it a stable double with another impressive performance and showed he has the capabilities of developing into a headline horse for the stable over the next few seasons. To round off a great week on the track, little filly, “Facts” gave Co-Trainer Lee a wonderful birthday present scoring at Seymour on Tuesday in her return to racing. So the aptly named “Tears N Triumph” came flooding back from the memory bank as we experienced all these emotions in one week of racing.
