New acquisition to the stable “Batoka Chief” recorded his first win for the stable in a head bobbing finish at Echuca on Saturday. The Sacred Falls gelding was acquired from the Inglis Digital Online Sale in September for $30,000.00 for Orlagh Brady and he will have no trouble repaying connections over the coming winter months if pedigree is any guide. He has a staying pedigree with his dam by Johar while his granddam is by the noted staying sire and Epson and Irish Derby winner, Generous.
