“Danvito and Tahlia Hope” delivered the first win in the new racing season for the Hope team at Echuca on Sunday. Recently returning from a 3 week European working holiday, Tahlia united with her favourite horse and the Danroad gelding responded with a super performance in the BM64 “Two Tarts” Handicap over 1400m. Co-Trainer, Lee said “She obviously suits the horse as she’s had five rides on him for three wins and a luckless fifth. He can be a tricky horse but she seems to have the key to him”. Danvito registers his fifth win from only 24 starts and increases his earning to above $62,000. A descendant from the NZ Ready to Run Sale he is proving an astute buy for his many connections.
