Rising in grade the Danroad gelding under stable apprentice, “Tahlia Hope” settled mid field before taking off prior to the home turn to stake their claim on the race. Dashing clear in the straight the 5YO gelding was full of running for a most impressive 2.25L victory on the day. The ease of his win took many by surprise and it’s obvious Tahlia certainly has found the key to the horse who provided her first winner in the saddle back in November 2015.
Relishing the softer track conditions, Danvito now takes his career earning to $48,858 off an $18K purchase from the New Zealand “Ready to Run” Sale for his connections. A typical NZ bred product who get better with age, Danvito looks in for a good Winter campaign ahead judging by this win.
