Delta Sky made it three consecutive wins on end scoring in the Big Swing Golf Handicap BM70 over 1500m at Moonee Valley on Saturday and giving her Owners a huge thrill. Ridden by talented apprentice jockey, Jett Stanley gave her owners a slight scare when she was slow out from the inside barrier but he didn’t panick and instead let her gather momentum to settle three pairs back on the rail. The leader created a big margin in front but backing his judgment he rode the mare to build her momentum and timed his run to perfection. The mare racing in full confidence accelerated over the top of the field to win by 0.75l  with a further 2L margin to the third placegetter. She takes her prizemoney earnings over $122K and it is hard to fault her form since joining the Hope Racing team last year.

The mare has taken her Owners on a great ride thus far and when probed Co-Trainer Shannnon responded to say

“She came to us in great order, we bought her online as one of the boys picked her out and liked her breeding and thought she would suit our style of training. Dad has placed her to perfection to be honest. We engaged Jett knowing he could ride the weight, claim 2kg and would have a decent size saddle on her. He is a kid going places and seemed to know what he was doing from the word go and executed it great”

Delta Sky will hopefully continue her exceptional form when she next tackles the Mares in a BM78 over 1600m at Flemington on January 11th.
