“Hope Racing” literally Flying

What a fabulous effort by the stable winning their third Group race in as many weeks with the latest “Madam Gangster” taking out the time honoured Gr3 “Frances Tressady Stakes” at Flemington on Saturday.

She follows on from the high class filly “Sabatini” who a week earlier secured the Gr2 “Angus Armanasco” Stakes after opening her campaign with a victory in the Gr3 “Kevin Hayes Stakes”.

Choose 2nd in the Gr3 “Mannerism Stakes” and Fenway 4th in the Gr3 “Vanity Stakes” continued Black Type success for the team to add valuable residual for them.

The stats for the stable are extraordinary with 22 winners from their 100 starters for this season, 13 x 2nd’s, 13 x 3rd’s, 6 x 4th’s for $951,710 in prizemoney earnings. Current strike rate is 22% being the best in the top 50 Trainers in Victoria for the season. Not bad for a boutique stable who averages between 20-25 horses in training at any one time and deservedly full credit goes to Lee , Shannon, Dee and the team behind them in their achievements.

Next week the stable is represented with 4 runners for the big Australian Cup meeting at Flemington with “Sabatini, Pittsburgh Flyer, Fenway & Choose” in all Stakes races on the program and looking to add more Group success!
