The team at Hope Racing were announced as the Leading Trainers for the 2023/2024 racing season at the annual Seymour Racing Club awards. The father-son training combination of Lee and Shannon were thrilled with the result after a long journey back into the training ranks. The award was for local trainers only and points awarded on 5-3-2-1 basis for placings, the Hope team were runaway victors with a score of 23 from the nearest rival on 13 points.
The training duo acknowledged the terrific effort and work by the SRC team, headed by CEO, Chris Martin and his Track Manager, Brett Thompson in providing first class training facilities and amenities.The club is fast building their membership base and attracting many local sponsors from the district in support of the club.
