Super “Sabatini”

Super filly, “Sabatini” adds another Stakes victory to her already impressive CV and is steadily earning the reputation as one of Victoria’s best 3YO fillies after winning the Group 2 “Angus Armanasco Stakes” at Caulfield on Saturday.

A superb and confident ride by regular jockey, “Nick Hall” guided the“Street Cry” filly to an easy victory for her fourth win from 8 starts and increase her career earning to $376,775.

There was a touch of deja vu for her Owner & Breeders, “Greg & Jenny White” as dam of Sabatini, “Royal Sash” won the Gr3 “Mannerism Stakes”at this meeting 11 years ago.

Co-Trainer, Shannon, said that every time we raise the bar she steps up to the challenge and feels there is more improvement in the filly. He made special mention to the great staff at Hope Racing that do alot of work behind the scenes. Sabatini is most likely to step out in the “Kewney Stakes” Gr 2 at Flemington in a fortnight.

The stable nearly completed a Stakes double with “Choose” going down by a neck in the Gr 3 “Mannerism Stakes” after a brave run. She will also head to Flemington on March 14th to tackle the Gr 3 Matron Stakes over 1600m.
