The local training duo of Lee and Shannon Hope produced an exciting filly and set the scene for a successful Seymour Cup meeting after a four year absence.

Vivanti having her first start showed her rivals a clear pair of heels to lead from the start and never looked in doubt as she motored away under Tahlia Hope to take out the first race on the card, The RSL Sub Branch 3YO Maiden Plate. Eased down on the line the filly scored by 3.25L in a race time of 1:12.39 on track conditions in the Soft 5 range.

Wearing the famous Alpara Lodge colours of Greg and Jenny White, the filly is a home bred by American Pharoah from the unraced Lonhro mare, Galatina. She hails from a great femle family which includes the champion filly of her time Alinghi.

The filly having her first racing preparation will now head to the paddock for a spring break with an Autumn campaign in mind.
