We all love coffee except for most punters at the Seymour meeting on Thursday when long shot Iluvcoffee overhauled the favourites to take out Race 3 on the card at a starting price of 20/1 and give his followers some extra Xmas spending money.

The good looking son by Ilovethiscity from Tea for Three was having only his third race start and was given a perfect ride by jockey, Joe Bowditch. Tracking through along the rails for majority of the race, the 3YO gelding manoeuvred towards the centre of the track on straightening and powered home to score by a head on the line to take out the Maiden Plate over 1400m.

Bred and raced by Bill Bowness, Iluvcoffee maintains the theme of his Dam, Tea for Three and is the younger half-brother to stable stalwart Big Brew. The stable has always held a nice opinion of the gelding and the Co-Trainers will give the horse every opportunity to fulfill his potential.

On behalf of the stable we send our congratulations to Mr Bill Bowness.
